A woman-owned business connecting women entrepreneurs across the state
February 3, 2016
Seneca Falls, N.Y. – Women’s Right to Run, announced today that Women TIES, LLC, a woman owned business promoting and supporting New York women entrepreneurs, has been named an official partner for the inaugural event.
Tracy Chamberlain Higginbotham, Founder and President of Women TIES, LLC (Women Together Inspiring Entrepreneurial Success), is a dedicated runner who focuses her daily work on marketing, promoting and uniting women entrepreneurs across New York State to increase their brand name and revenue potential.
“The Women’s Right to Run 19K/5K is an absolutely perfect fit for Women TIES and our network especially since we created a division of Women TIES two years ago, called the Women’s Athletic Network, in order to bring businesswomen together after work hours to participate in sports, fitness and health activities,” said Higginbotham. “I’m very excited to be a part of this inaugural event and to run in it too because I am also a feminist at heart.”
“Tracy and the Women TIES network mean business,” said Katie MacIntyre, AVP – Marketing Officer, Generations Bank. “I am thrilled to have her expertise and enthusiasm join the momentum we are creating with the inaugural Right to Run 19K 5K event. I am especially thrilled since Tracy and I serve as ambassadors with Kathrine Switzer’s 261 fearless movement and we can’t wait to welcome many ambassadors on race day.”
The Women’s Right to Run race will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 – Mother’s Day Weekend – in Seneca Falls. Runners have the option of registering to run a 5K or 19K, both of which will be USATF (USA Track & Field) certified.
